Power Hitters

As a general rule, power hitters should be using end loaded, stiff handled, one piece bats. A shorter barrel will also accentuate bat whip and distance. We have also included bats that have extended barrels though as some power hitters would rather sacrifice the extra bat whip for a larger sweet spot. If you are having your bat shaved it would always be best to have it end loaded back to its starting weight or even heavier after shaving. (Most ASA bats are not very end loaded as this would cause them to surpass the 98MPH standard)

Base Hitters

As a general rule base hitters will do better with balanced bats since this will give them better bat control. Flexible handled and two piece bats (that create more bat whip for those who don’t have as much natural bat speed and power) are also helpful.
