2011 Easton SCX2 Synergy Reissue Review - Batman's Personal Bat

This bat is a decent stock bat but nothing special for a USSSA bat. Probably not the best reissue from Easton to date. It's a perfect bat for our "Batman Bat" though being that it is very durable and can be shaved and endloaded extremely aggressively. Endload can make a world of difference when you are looking for all out distance. It can kind of be addicting as once you see what it can do it's hard to swing balanced bats anymore. When done to the Batman specs it will be a monster as the aggressive shaving will bring out it's true performance potential and the endloading will help the ball carry an extra 15 feet or so. Just to be clear, it is not the bat itself but the way we are altering it that will make it into the Home run derby beast it will end up being. You will sacrifice some durability of course anytime you shave a bat to an extreme and the endload also will stress the bat more but the performance will be worth the trade off if you are looking for a great home run derby bat. I feel this bat will outhit any Ultra or senior league bat for distance when done to these specs.
