2012 Easton SRV6BH Brett Helmer Synergy Speed Review

2012 Easton SRV6BH Brett Helmer Synergy Speed

This bat is a repaint of the 2011 Easton SRV3 Brett Helmer Synergy . It has a 12" barrel so sweet spot is smaller but bat whip is greater. This is a great power hitter's bat and you will get better distance with it that a longer barreled, more balanced bat. This is because the shorter barrel you will get much more bat whip. The sweet spot is a little smaller due to the power hitter's design but not hard to find at all. The 2011 and 2012 ASA Eastons have been developing what we would describe as outer composite layer stress lines. The composite weave pattern will flex and cause the outer layer to be stressed in straight lines along the barrel of the bat either vertically or at an angle around the bat. We have seen this happen to some very quickly in stock form and others not at all. It appears that the stress lines do not affect the structural integrity of the bat though. The bats will still perform at a very high level for a long time afterwards.

Sweetspot: 8.5
Distance: 9.2
Durability: 8.5
