This bat is very similar to the Freak FX. Good sized sweet spot, which is towards the end of the barrel. Breaks in a little quicker than the FX. The bat has a higher pitched sound when hit, until broken in, and then it changes to that nice crack sound. The FX bats developed stress cracks on the outer shell, as many of the newer ASA bats do, since they are trying to make them break in quicker. We will have to see if these do the same thing or have better outer shell integrity. They shave and roll very well and pick up around 40+ feet afterwards.
