This bat appears to be Miken's answer to the Easton Salvo- a $199 ASA bat. It doesn't really live up to expectations though. It is stiff and tough to break in and has a small sweet spot. The main problem with them is that the outer layer of composite cracks easily and develops vertical crack lines on the outside of the bat. A few of them we've seen have even had layers of composite start peeling off of them. I'd stay away from this one and look at the Freak FX 700 instead.
