2012 Worth Filthy 454 ASA Review

2012 Worth Filthy 454 ASA

These bats feel much like the M7598 Mayhems. It seems like the ASA standards are getting blurred since last year's Eastons came in hotter than the post ABI standards. These bats are much better when endloaded and that is typically how we will finish them when rolled and shaved. This appears to be the same bat at the 454 balanced but has .5 oz more endload. The paint job is impressive and the graphics stand out even more on the Filthy than on the white 454 model. We are getting great feedback and comments on the Filthys we have rolled and shaved. The 454 technology is supposed to extend the sweetspot and although alot of the manufacturer press you read about there bats is just hype this actually seems to be legit. The sweetspot seems to be extended in both directions but noticeably towards the handle so that you have an extra 2" of area to mishit the ball and still get good pop on it. The pop and distance are even better than the Toxics-especially the green ones. This should be a top ASA bat for 2012.

Sweetspot: 9.2
Distance: 9.2
Durability: 8.5
