This bat is inspired by Louisville Slugger’s iconic C243 turn model that showcases a massive barrel and is cupped giving a slightly end-loaded feel. This bat is Pro Hardened with steel rods that generate a combination of pressure and heat to compress the wood and create a harder, denser surface along the barrel. The CB35 also undergoes a UV Light Treatment, an ultraviolet lamp generates a chemical reaction within the topcoat to immediately cure and harden the material. This treatment pairs with Louisville Slugger’s Professional Series Finish, which is an enhanced resin material, these two processes result in a bat 30% harder than previous Louisville Slugger Prime wood bats.
